  • An IMO is an independent marketing organization.

  • Yes! FFL has our very own CRM where agents can buy exclusive leads. You are not required to use our leads. You can use any lead vendor you choose.

  • Roughly 1-4 weeks, but it's different for everyone. It depends on if you already have your life insurance license or not. If you need to get your license, you have to take an online course, take your exam and apply. How fast you finish the course is a big factor.

    If you already have your license then you just need to get appointed with our carriers. If you finish all the paperwork we send you ASAP, then you could be in the field in as little as 5 days

  • Nope! You do not have to pay any startup fees to Family First Life.

    There are some basic expenses to get started, but nothing charged by FFL itself. Examples include: state license, leads, and basic tools (like a computer).

  • For example, the total cost to get your Texas life insurance license is about $129:

    • $39 for the testing fee

    • $50 for the license fee

    • $40 for fingerprinting

    Once you send a screenshot showing your exam is booked, you’ll also receive a coupon code to access your pre-licensing training for free. Each state has a slightly different cost to get completely licensed.

  • No, we are NOT a captive agency. You are a 1099, independent business owner. You can get appointed with one of our carriers or all of our carriers. It's completely up to you!

  • We offer life insurance products such as final expense, mortgage protection, IUL's and annuities.

  • No — Family First Life is not an MLM. MLMs are built on recruiting, where your income depends on how many people you bring in. At FFL, your business is built on sales and personal production.

    You can absolutely succeed here without ever recruiting. While you can build a team if you choose, it’s not required and never pressured.

  • Nope! You do not have to cold call clients. We have warm leads from families who requested our service and are interested in getting coverage.

  • No experience is required! What matters most is being coachable and motivated. Agents do need a life insurance license, but we’ll guide you through the process step by step. If you don’t have your license yet, we even cover the cost of your study material and online course.

    With our support and mentorship, you’ll have everything you need to succeed.

  • When you sell a policy, you get advanced the first 9 months of the policy and then get months 10, 11 and 12 when the client pays their bill that month. If a client cancels their policy within the first 9 months, you owe your advanced commissions back to the carrier.

    Chargebacks are unavoidable and happen to everyone. If you continue to sell and issue another policy with that same carrier, your new commissions will go towards your debt until it's paid off.

  • No. Agents at Family First Life do NOT get a W2 because everyone is a 1099. You are an independent business owner.

  • Nope! You do not have to sign any contracts with our agency.

  • Vibrant Life Agency is based in the United States and operates nationally. While our leadership is located in Austin, Texas, you can live anywhere in the U.S. and work with us.
